Altar Server

Altar Servers are key to the Liturgy happening smoothly.  Their duties begin prior to the Liturgy by setting needed items in the Sanctuary, followed by the Procession into the church.  The Altar Servers lead the Deacon, Priest and others into the church by carrying the Processional Cross and Candles.  As the Liturgy continues, the Altar Servers assist the Deacon and/or Priest with his prayer binder and other important items used throughout the Liturgy, including the Thurible (censor) and Aspergillum (for sprinkling Holy Water).  They also light candles prior to the Mass beginning, and also as the Liturgy of the Eucharist begins.

Are you interested in becoming an Altar Server? Do you know someone interested?  If so, send an email to Deacon Al Censullo.

Project H2O

Imagine what your life would be like if you awoke tomorrow morning and found that there was no water coming into your home. What would you do? Probably you'd get a few gallons of bottled water, and feel a bit grungy and inconvenienced until the water came back on. Other than that, things would really be OK. But what if the water never came back on? And what if the stores ran out of bottled water? What if the nearest drainage ditch became the only place we could get any water at all? … Help The Thirsty
