Liturgy of the Word for Children offers children
ages four to eight the opportunity to celebrate the Liturgy
of the Word on a level they can better relate to and understand.
The leader's role is to break open the scriptures for the
children, articulating what Jesus is saying in a way the children
can understand, learn from and hopefully apply to their lives.
As a leader/helper you will also find a greater richness and
new life in God's word for yourself. All you need is a love
of children and a desire to share faith with them.
Vision Statement:
New members of the ministry will be recruited and provided
with training and resources necessary to develop their gifts.
