| Mission Statement: |

The ushers of the Church of St. Mary are ministers
of the church and servants of the faith community as we gather
to celebrate the Eucharist. We are the first official contact
for those who come together to worship and are committed to
assist in the growth of the community in the Spirit of Jesus
by providing a faith-filled atmosphere of warm friendliness
and hospitality. We are called to render a special service
to the congregation and are engaged in divine worship with
them. |

Our goal is to raise the consciousness of the ushers and
congregation so that all will realize the importance of this
role as a true liturgical ministry that helps to build community.
We will continue to create and maintain a climate of hospitality
within our Eucharistic assemblies in order to make a contribution
to the quality of worship in our parish.
