Rite of Enrollment

Candidates and families attend one of the following masses to make their official commitment:

• Saturday, September 14th, 4:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph
• Sunday, September 15th, 8:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary
• Sunday, September 15th, 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Mary

Rites and Rituals

Candidates must be accompanied by their parent, guardian, and/or sponsor:

• Monday, September 16th: Ritual of Water & Light
  • 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Church of St. Mary
• Monday, September 23rd: Ritual of Oil & Laying on of Hands
  • 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Church of St. Mary

Reconciliation Workshop

Monday, September 30th:

• 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Church of St. Mary

Reconciliation

Candidates choose a 15-minute slot for individual reconciliation:

• Thursday, October 3rd:
  • 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Church of St. Mary
• Saturday, October 5th:
  • 3:30 PM – 3:45 PM at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph
• Thursday, October 10th:
  • 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Church of St. Mary
• Saturday, October 12th:
  • 3:30 PM – 3:45 PM at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph

Service Days

Candidates will choose one of the following service days (12:00 PM – 6:00 PM):

• Sunday, September 15th: SJESJ & CSM Parish Picnic at the Church of St. Mary
• Sunday, September 22nd: Joseph House, Troy NY
• Sunday, September 29th: Joseph House, Troy NY

Rehearsal

If your sponsor is unable to attend, another adult must attend in their place:
